Don’t you really get frustrated while using Cogeco Cable TV boxes and you do not have the ability to remove from the guide those channels you do not subscribe to.

What is it with Cogeco?  Virtually all other cable providers provide you the ability to only see on the guide those channels that you subscribe to.

Cogeco will tell you to set up your favorites to only see those channels, but the favorites do not become the default.  Every time you select from the favorites to view a channel and then go back to the guide,  you are right back to the listing of all the channels.

With the prices that Cogeco charge for cable services, one would think that providing a guide that only lists channels you subscribe to would be a no brainer.

And the options are limited.  If you live in an area like I do where the only high speed internet service is that from Cogeco, your ability to get satellite becomes somewhat pricey.

So much for the ability to have choice from various suppliers.  One could only hope that some day the CRTC in Canada will see the problems that we experience in so many communities when we really don’t have choice.
